Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m. via Zoom
The last moments leading up to Jesus’ death were not left up to chance. God chose the path; he selected the nails.
Based on his best-selling book, “He Chose the Nails”, pastor and popular author Max Lucado helps through his video series for viewers to experience Lent as a time not to just give up something, but to prepare to receive good gifts from God; to take comfort that Jesus understands everything you face in this life; to receive the grace of Christ’s work for us, and cooperate with God’s work in us to make us more like him; stand firm in the promise that you are forgiven, and you are welcome in God’s presence, no matter what you’ve done.
Because of the challenges of meeting in person this year’s ecumenical Lenten Series will be hosted on Zoom for five Wednesday evenings beginning at 6:30 p.m. There will be a session shown from the video, followed by a discussion moderated by one of Clinton’s clergy. The program will end before 7:30 p.m. Please plan to make this fascinating series part of your Lenten experience.
